A Note from “Corporate Slavery” by M B A Khan.
When I was living in the UK I used to see people whine about “Mondays“. Now something similar has started to pop up in the Minds, Facebook profiles and Twitter accounts of Corporate Workers here in Pakistan too, in fact almost everyone except for the “Self-Employed“. We understand that we have to follow “the Goras/the west” because we have their systems employed in our social, economical and political mix of both our individual lives and as a country, but that too, to an extent where we even have to be upset and/or be happy about life according to their perception of it?
Self-Employed people on the other hand like Mondays way too much, and for many reasons. So, are we headed in the wrong direction or totally in the opposite direction?
By the way, just a little info at the end of my stance, being Self-Employed is a Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Your comments would benefit us all.
Innit??? Yeah, I know… 🙂 Thank you 😛

The Euro Trip – 113 Update
Blogging from my phone whilst on the way to Zürich, Switzerland feels like real-time blogging i.e. if there is something called Real Time Blogging…
So far we’ve visited Amsterdam, Koln and Frankfurt. Last Night we stayed at a hotel in Stuttgart and I personally liked the service pretty much!
I’ve been taking hundreds of pictures. Most of the pictures are documenting the trip others are portraits and group pictures…
Right I’m off now…
Assalam o Alikum,
Belated Eid Mubarak everyone. Eid was good this year, as in, it was the same but I felt a little different… 😉 😛
A little update on what I’ve been up to lately…
All through out Ramadan I focused on keeping myself away from all the ‘laghwiyaat’ by reading the Quran, being punctual with Salat and building up my Imaan. Other than that I was doing these online short tutorials on Lighting and Colour and some Photoshop tutorials. Designing my website and sorting portfolio images were two other things which kept me busy; YES, I’M ABOUT TO LAUNCH MY PORTFOLIO WEBSITE. Really, I should have done it long time ago, but this is me… I take my time with things… and yeah it will be soon up and running.
I’ve also been watching this photography program – [Framed] Show, it’s available on YouTube if anyone of you is interested. It’s just amazing, they interview these professional photographers around the world and trust me you learn a lot! They also have a very active community on Facebook and a huge fan following. So yeah, do check it out.
That’s about it, I think…
