Assalam o Alikum,
Belated Eid Mubarak everyone. Eid was good this year, as in, it was the same but I felt a little different… 😉 😛
A little update on what I’ve been up to lately…
All through out Ramadan I focused on keeping myself away from all the ‘laghwiyaat’ by reading the Quran, being punctual with Salat and building up my Imaan. Other than that I was doing these online short tutorials on Lighting and Colour and some Photoshop tutorials. Designing my website and sorting portfolio images were two other things which kept me busy; YES, I’M ABOUT TO LAUNCH MY PORTFOLIO WEBSITE. Really, I should have done it long time ago, but this is me… I take my time with things… and yeah it will be soon up and running.
I’ve also been watching this photography program – [Framed] Show, it’s available on YouTube if anyone of you is interested. It’s just amazing, they interview these professional photographers around the world and trust me you learn a lot! They also have a very active community on Facebook and a huge fan following. So yeah, do check it out.
That’s about it, I think…
This is just so cool! I was expecting my Blurb Photography Portfolio book to arrive next week and to my best surprise I got it today and I was blown out by it’s quality of prints. It’s just fabulous.
You guys can view the whole book online if you want here’s the link
Alright I’m off now,

World Photography Organisation Festival 2011 – London, sounds big doesn’t it? Of course it does, but you know what’s even bigger? I am attending it full time! Yaaayyy!!!
The festival is for a week from the 26th of April till 1st of May. I’m insanely excited about this, portfolio reviews, documentary photography workshop, networking, exhibitions, world class photographers, the awards, talks, seminars, other workshops, interviews, and London itself. I’m surely going to have fun.
To make it more exciting I’m meeting up with some of my old mates back from Pakistan. I’ll be spending some quality time with them as well.
This picture was shot last time I was in London, back in February. I love how the Reds in the sky and the motion blur helped to make this ordinary picture extraordinary.
Other than that, I’m ‘khush’ and I hope you’re ‘khush’ as well.
Alright I’m off…
