All set for the Photo Shoot

Yes, Today I will be doing my first ever professional photo shoot – A friend’s Wedding Reception. I’m all excited and nervous at the same time because obviously this is the first time I’m doing something like this.

All night I was thinking about the compositions, people, style, technique and what not, but I know when it comes down to action the best shots are just those decisive moments that cannot be predicted or planned. I mean I’m just going to take it easy but also my approach will be comprehensive(I don’t want to miss anything, do I?), the way I normally shoot, I’m just going to stay simply original.

I have done all my homework for the photo shoot, all gear checked, lenses cleaned, cards, batteries, flash, backpack, all sorted! I’m doing this for my experience, and I thank so much for my friend to give me a chance. I’m sure it’s going to be a major confidence boaster and a big step forward in my photography career. I hope everything goes smooth and just perfect, finger’s crossed…!!!

I so wanted to take my friend with me, but he’s stuck somewhere and I’ll have to do it all on my own, which is not going to be a problem, but you know having a friend next to you always helps.

Other than that, we were out shopping even yesterday, whole day, for the euro trip… That is another big thing happening in my life this year. Alhumdulillah… 🙂

and last but not the least, I’ve made a new fan! So thank you so much my new fan, you’re the best fan 😛

Laundry!

Laundry

Yes I don’t like doing things like laundry every now and then. Yeah, I mean I do it when I’ve got no more clothes left in my closet.

This is one more not-so-productive chore that I don’t do. There’s one more(ironing), but that’s a different thing… So yeah, I only wash my clothes when there is no other option left! So basically I wash all of my jeans, trousers, shirts, t-shirts and other tops and stuff once they’re are all in the laundry bag!

I mean come on, how can you find time to do your laundry every week and some people even do it twice a week, I’m like puff! How can you be this unoccupied? Speaking of which also reminds me that today we are so much into the digital world that in my daily routine I spend like good 10 to 12 hours of my day in front of my laptop and that too doing what? Facebook-ing, Twitter-ing, YouTube-ing, Stumbling Upon, Blogging, Flickr-ing, News, Views, and so much more and all this takes up your time!

Because I live with friends, it makes it even worst! Living with your family would have helped me with this but no I don’t live with my family because they’re back home in Pakistan

Anyway so much so for my POV about laundry!

Cheers

Billy No-Mates!

Billy No-Mates!, originally uploaded by M B A Khan.

Sometimes I wonder how different people in our lives shape our lives, sometimes we are informed and rest of the times we don’t even get to know about those changes.

I sometimes think that if you say that life is only about getting away from some people and getting closer to some others and then getting away from them as well, it can be justified at certain times in life… I mean I have had those experiences where one day I would feel like I’m the king of the world and for the next few days I would feel like Billy No-Mates… scientists would probably say something about chemical reactions in our brains or something like that but I am an artist and I believe it to be much more than mere chemical imbalance or something…

Enjoy the Depiction of Billy No-Mates!

Cheers

Architektur und Aufbau

A Strange Building in Shefield, originally uploaded by M B A Khan.

I have recently uploaded some of the Architectural and Building shots on flickr. Now I also wanted to try this blog connection feature on flickr whereby I can post on my WordPress Blog directly from flickr… Over here I think it will only post one picture with one blog post so you might have to visit my flickr page to view the rest of Architektur und Aufbau set.

Thanks
